Raw Chocolate Banana Nicecream
We can’t get enough of my Chocolate Nicecream Bowls. Since they can be reinvented again and again, it doesn't get boring. You get the greatest taste explosion from many different toppings. All of them have a stack of amazing benefits. Particularly healthy fats that the little ones need to grow. For us adults, the pumpkin seeds are a very good source of nutrients because they are full of magnesium. Healthy magnesium levels protect metabolic health, stabilize mood, keep stress in check, promote better sleep, and contribute to heart and bone health. If we use chocolate in stressful times, this is one reason for the magnesium deficiency!
Ingredients – Vanilla
2 frozen bananas, in thick slices and a bit thawed
Pinch of pure vanilla
2 tbsp plant-based milk if needed
Ingredients – Chocolate
2 frozen bananas
1 tsp maple syrup
1 tsp raw cocoa powder
A dash of plant-based milk if needed
2 tsp raw cocoa nibs
Topping
1 tbsp raw cacao nibs
1 sticky Medjool date, pitted and sliced
8 almonds
1 tsp pumpkin seeds
1 tbsp coconut flakes
1 tbsp cashew nuts
1 tbsp leftover fruits like cantaloupe (honey melon)
Method
Blend all ingredients for each layer separately in your blender until they are creamy, except for the cocoa nibs in the chocolate cream. Once the chocolate cream is done, add the cacao nibs and blend for 30 seconds – so that they stay crispy.
Pour the light and dark mixtures onto your plate. It looks nice when the colors run together as in the picture above.
Add all the toppings.
